Alex and Aarons wedding day was simply perfect! It was a beautiful day that ended up getting just a tad chilly. However, it wasn’t anything completely unbearable for their beautiful candle-lit, sunset wedding! The girls started the day with mimosas in the cutest little customized cups and robes Alex had for her bridesmaids! The guys celebrated by taking advantage of the golf course located at their gorgeous venue at Carter Plantation in Springfield, LA!

Alex had first contacting me back in 2017 about photographing her wedding in November of 2017. However, she then contacted shortly after letting me know she would then have to postpone her wedding due to her sweet sweet mom battling cancer. Fast forward to beginning of 2018 and she contacts me with the new date; November 17th 2018! Along with her new date, she had the BEST news; Her mom had won her battle with cancer! My heart couldn’t have felt happier for this AMAZING family.

After a long year and a half of planning, 11-17-18 finally arrived and everyone was simply glowing! At the beginning of the day I could tell the nerves were setting in just a little as I watched Alex practice her wedding vows in the living room….which had me tearing up at the ceremony by the way! But Alex had the BEST group of girls by her side and I can honestly say I watched them have the time of their lives throughout the entirety of the wedding day despite the nerves!

It was amazing to watch and capture all the pure emotion from this wedding not only between the bride and groom but also between their family members! Aaron couldn’t hardly hold the tears back even before Alex and her father stepped out of the doors. They exchanged the most beautiful vows and I wasn’t the only one tearing up… . I could definitely hear some sniffles coming from the audience! Alex and Aaron couldn’t be anymore perfect for each other and they enjoyed their day completely to the fullest! There was not one SECOND someone wasn’t on the dance floor having a good ol time! I would shoot their wedding a million times over if I could! Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Pool!
