It was windy and super muggy on the day of Maddie and Hayden’s engagement session but that did NOT stop them from absolutely nailing their photos! From the beauty of the Spanish moss and white picket fences in Madisonville to the bright and colorful streets of Covington their session was EVERYTHING! The cherry on top was adding the cutest and most perfect couple that is Maddie and Hayden!!

Would you believe these two were MIDDLE school sweethearts?! Not high school, MIDDLE school! They were in 5th and 6th grade when their relationship originally started! How cute is that? Fast forward to 4 years ago when they went on an official DATE….and the rest was history!! Last year, on September 9th, at the LSU vs. SLU football game, is when Hayden decided to pop the question! It was perfect for them as Maddie graduated from SLU and Hayden from LSU! After the game, while sporting each of their university t-shirts, Hayden got down on one knee in the stands of Tiger Stadium! Ahh! It gives me chills just thinking about it!!

I could not be more excited to celebrate and capture their love story even further on December 21st, 2019!! And just to add to the excitement, they are getting married at the same place that I did!! I already know I am going to have to fight to hold back the tears! One, because I will get to be apart of such a special day in another one of my couples’ lives and two because I will also be reminiscing on my special day all at the same time!! Gosh I just simply love what I do! Getting to share in the excitement and be apart of such a special time in people’s lives gives so much meaning to my life!! A huge congratulations to the future Mr. and Mrs. Hawkins!!
