There is literally so much I could say about these two. The emotions, pure joy, and complete happiness that emanated from Ashlee and Chris as they said their vows to one another was nothing short of magical. It’s like I stepped straight into a romantic movie! Chris even played his guitar and sang to wife!

Ashlee contacted me towards the beginning of the year about photographing her and Chris’s small wedding ceremony. I got to hear all about their story and how they met. It was rather unique circumstances as Ashlee and Chris are from two completely different states! Chris from Wyoming and Ashlee from Wisconsin….they met on a dating site! How cool?! After being miles away from each other for a period of time due to Chris’s job they eventually settled here in Baton Rouge, Louisiana! And I got to photograph their marriage!! I can’t even explain how honored I feel to have captured this day for them!

There in the benches that Chris built for the ceremony, sat both of their sweet families that flew all the way from Wyoming and Wisconsin to share this special day with them! So many tears shed, an abundance of laughter, and two families coming together with all the love and support simply made this day spectacular! Ashlee and Chris vowed to love each other to the longest infinity plus one…..and through my eyes I got to witness the beginning of this infinity! I whole heartedly believe these two will live in their beautiful infinity with the utmost love and affection for one another! Ashlee and Chris are simply perfect for one another and I wish them all the happiness, love and laughter in their marriage!! Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Melson!!
