Evelyn + Aaron

It was a beautiful and calm day at Fountainebleau State park for Evelyn and Aaron’s wedding! Prayers were definitely answered as the forecast showed 80% chance of rain all week! I walked up to the cabins where they were getting ready and my jaw LITERALLY dropped! These cute, quaint, and charming little cabins sit on the edge of Lake Pontchartrain in Mandeville, Louisiana! It was the absolute PERFECT getting ready space as it also offered calm and relaxing vibes! It was a start to one of the most stress-free weddings I have ever photographed!

Evelyn and Aaron’s day was FILLED with some of the most special moments. Pawpaw Charles helping Aaron with his tie, Evelyn’s cousin (whom is like a brother to her) traveling all the way from Hawaii just to be there for her wedding, Evelyn’s dad putting on her grandmother’s special necklace…. so many heartfelt and MEANINGFUL moments! My heart was just bursting with joy for this sweet couple and their family!

The ceremony took place under the magical spanish moss filled oak trees at Fountainebleau state park. It was quiet, calm, and simply beautiful! It was fairly cloudy but as we arrived back at the cabins, I noticed one of the most beautiful sunsets over the lake! I stopped them and told them that it was too amazing to not take a few more portraits! Boy am I so glad we did!! I couldn’t be happier for this sweet family as they enter a new season of life! Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Cubbage!!
