Kayla + Stephen | Engaged
What all started at a local downtown bar in Hammond, LA turned into two amazing people committing to share their lives together. Stephen worked at the Crescent behind the bar and one evening Kayla asks him if he could charge her phone. At the end of the night Kayla discovers a piece of paper taped to the back of her phone… can you guess what was written on that piece of paper?? Yep, Stephen left her his number and well…. the rest was HISTORY! Be sure to scroll to view their photos we took at The Crescent where they first met! Seriously, they will give you butterflies!
So the time came for them to take their engagement photos! It could not have been a more perfect day! Sunny and 70 degrees! And trust me, here in south Louisiana we have been waiting so LONG for the temperature to dip below 90! Ha! As far as Kayla and Stephen go, well they made my job EASY! The connection they have with one another is simply amazing. I barely even had to pose them because they just kept doing what I wanted them to do NATURALLY!
There is this BEAUTIFUL house in Hammond and it is one that I gaze at EVERY TIME I pass by it. I would always think to myself, man it would be absolutely AMAZING to photograph a session there…. well low and behold, Kayla and Stephen knew the owners and I could not believe it when Kayla said they wanted to do photos there! My little photographer heart was SINGING!! Ah!!
An amazing couple, two AMAZING locations, a beautiful day….gosh Kayla and Stephen’s engagement session is just too perfect for words! I absolutely cannot wait to celebrate their special day with them next July!! Congratulations to the future Mr. and Mrs. Perelli!!
