Emily + Edward | The White Magnolia | Kentwood, Louisiana | Feb. 22nd, 2020

When I tell you it was the PERFECT day for Emily and Edward’s wedding, I mean it was absolutely 100% PERFECT! Not too hot, not too cold, not too windy, with the most GORGEOUS sunset over the Kentwood, Louisiana hills at the breath-taking White Magnolia venue!

When you drive up to this gorgeous country-chic barn venue it automatically feels so relaxing and PEACEFUL! And in my opinion, even with the NORMAL stresses of wedding day, their day STILL had a sense of peacefulness to it! It was one of the most SPECTACULAR weddings I have ever had the pleasure of capturing!

The sunset over the hills paired with the multi-color pastel bridesmaids dresses and gorgeous florals by the Glenda’s Flowers just made my heart absolutely flutter!! This is one of my FAVORITE parts of the day! This is when all of the hard work and planning really starts to come together and you can see the true aesthetic of the wedding day!

Aside from, and more importantly than the look and style of this gorgeous wedding, are the amazing newlyweds, Emily and Edward! These two are absolutely PERFECT for each other. They both simply GLOW with pure happiness when they are with each other! They reminded me why I do what I do. In the moment of capturing their portraits together as husband and wife, I could see so clearly what they mean to each other! The way he looks at her….the way she looks at him…..its amazing the way two people look each other can make me fall in love with my job all over again!

Congratulations the new Mr. and Mrs. DeLee!! I wish you two all the love and happiness in the world!!
