Victoria + Steven | A St. Hilary of Poitiers Catholic Church Wedding | Raceland, LA
A calm December day with sage green, ivory, and French blue tones complete with the most amazing couple….Victoria and Steven’s wedding day on December 4th, 2020 was absolutely stunning! They were married in St. Hilary of Poitiers Catholic Church of Raceland, Louisiana. The night followed with a reception at Foundry on the Bayou in Thibodeaux, Louisiana!
I walked into Victoria’s parents house and immediately felt the calm vibes from Victoria, her mom, and her bride tribe! When I discovered her dress hanging in her parents bedroom my jaw dropped! Victoria’s classic and sleek long-sleeve gown is one for the BOOKS! Definitely one of my favorite dresses I have ever seen. And wow did it look even more amazing on her!!
This wedding day was definitely unlike most. Victoria and Steven shared a first look on Victoria’s parents back terrace. Steven’s reaction to seeing her was so priceless and so so sweet! Be sure to scroll down to see! We then followed with portraits featuring a gorgeous glowing sunset! We took pictures on the party bus, Victoria took photos sitting in her grandmother’s old chair, and we had so much time to have fun with the bridal party. Once we were done and the sun set, the bridal party was able to ride around in there bus before they went to the ceremony as we were left with a whole hour. I WISH I could go back in time and plan my wedding like this! Having the time to do so many fun portraits and getting to ride around on a party bus before getting hitched sounds incredibly AMAZING…. and that it was!!
I only met Victoria and Steven just a few months back and I am so very grateful for the short time I was able to get to know them! There wedding day could not have been more perfect and I had a BLAST capturing it!! Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Kehn!
