Erin + Sean | A St. Mary of False River Wedding | New Roads, Louisiana

It was a cool, rainy day in New Roads, Louisiana for Erin and Sean’s wedding day. I had only met Erin and Sean for the first time the night before at the rehearsal at their church. I without a doubt could already see the beauty of their relationship together. They were married in St. Mary of False River Catholic Church in New Roads, Louisiana and danced the night away just across the street at Circa Event Center. Do yourselves a favor and scroll to see the sweetest reaction from Sean as he watched his beautiful bride walk down the aisle!!

At the beginning of the day I arrived at the cutest Air Bnb on the water. I walked in and immediately felt such a warm and welcoming vibe as all the ladies were hanging out and getting hair and makeup touchups! As soon as everyone was dressed we raced outside in a small break of rain to get some fun bridesmaids shots. I LOVED Erin’s colors! They were super fun and vibrant and fit perfectly with this group of ladies!! We may of had to dodge a few rain drops but oh my gosh it was so worth it!!

There were so many sentimental elements in this wedding day and I absolutely LOVE IT! Incorporating sentimental touches throughout a wedding day, in my opinion, adds such a unique and true touch making it the day even more special. Erin made a necklace out of her sweet grandmother’s ring, who had passed 3 years ago. She also incorporated Daffodil’s into her wedding bouquets because that was her grandmother’s favorite flower. How sweet right? Although her grandmother could not be there physically, I believe this was such a beautiful way of honoring her memory and keeping her close to her heart as Erin walked down the aisle to marry the man of her dreams.

Simultaneously, while Erin was putting on her finishing wedding touches, Sean’s mom was with him helping him with his finishing touches. Among the finishing touches was an engraved handkerchief with a message from his father in his handwriting. His mother handed Sean the handkerchief and he placed in his pocket. Just as Erin’s grandmother was with her, Sean’s father was with him as well. Simply beautiful.

Erin walked down the aisle and I looked to my left and saw sweet Sean barely holding it together as he was becoming overwhelmed with joy watching his beautiful bride walk towards him. It was as if no one else was in the room but just the two of them. Funny story, Erin was telling me that Sean didn’t want to wear his glasses for the ceremony and that he probably wouldn’t be able to see her until she got super close to him…… but he totally did. I believe he saw her clearly. Once the ceremony began, I saw Sean look over at her from time to time with the sweetest and most sincere smile. Erin and Sean’s love for one another is simply undeniable and I feel so grateful to have been there to capture it!! Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Pyritz!!!
