Kaytie + Will | Temple Baptist Church | Squire Creek Country Club | Ruston, Louisiana
On June 26th, 2021, Kaytie and Will were married at Temple Baptist Church in Ruston, Louisiana and then danced the night away at Squire Creek Country Club just down the road in Choudrant, Louisiana! The timeless white and ice blue color scheme, stunning yet simplistic floral arrangements, and classic elements of the wedding absolutely made my JAW DROP upon capturing the day! Complete with a beautiful sunny day that wasn’t THE hottest I’ve ever experienced and the madly in-love, swoon worthy couple that is Kaytie and Will…this day was truly EVERY photographers DREAM!!!
The day started with hanging out with the sweetest group of ladies while they were getting ready. A few tears may have been shed here in there upon experiencing some of the most special, once-in-a-lifetime moments while Kaytie was getting ready. It was truly beautiful to witness so much love and support from Kaytie’s sweet mom and best friends! They eventually headed off to the chapelllll aaaand they got maaaarrrried…..totally just sang that in my head while I wrote it! Ha! They had a beautiful ceremony, then took some beautiful portraits before heading back to their absolutely BREATH-TAKING reception at Squire Creek Country Club. Their reception was just too beautiful to even describe so you will have to just scroll to see for yourselves!!
Just as I reflect on every wedding day I capture, I just feel so incredibly thankful that I not only get to capture just one day for a couple but also spend time getting to know them before the big day!! Capturing a couple’s love story in the most natural and genuine way will forever be the back bone of why I do this! I was able to learn so much about Kaytie and Will when I first met them a few months ago for their engagement session. When I arrived on the wedding day, they just felt like old friends!! I will forever treasure the relationships I get to build with my couples well before the wedding day! Couples like Kaytie and Will, yet again remind me why I absolutely ADORE my career. These two have the cutest, fun-loving, and playful relationship with one another. It was so clear to me how much they mean to each other and I couldn’t be happier for them that they got to experience such an incredible day! Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Davison! I wish them all the best in their marriage and lives together!!
