Alexis + LaShawn | Engaged | Part One | Fountainebleau State Park | Mandeville, Louisiana
If you want to know what pure happiness looks like… in its truest form….just take a look at Alexis and LaShawn. Editing these engagement photos gave me a huge smile on my face the entire time! If you want to see why, all you have to do is scroll and see for yourselves. And this is only PART ONE of their engagement photos! On this day we went to Fountainebleau State Park in Mandeville, Louisiana and ended at a local Cafe DuMonde! And let me tell you, we had a whirlwind of a time! Laughter, rainstorms, sand everywhere, beignet powdered sugar EVERYWHERE, and one injured toe later (more on that in a minute HAHAHA)….and we have one of the most EPIC engagement sessions I have ever done!
I have to admit, I have never been injured on a shoot before, but I would endure the pain of a huge thorn getting stuck in my toe over and over to capture the epic love story that Alexis and LaShawn have together! Seriously! I just have to thank my sweet hubby for a second for being there to calm my crazy self down. I have an EXTREMELY low pain tolerance, therefore, I was legit thinking my toe had fallen off!! …..Very realistic Krystal (insert eye roll). Low and behold, I made it through and got the thorn out. I limped the rest of the shoot but still had an absolute BLAST laughing with Alexis and LaShawn.
I have to say, you can tell a lot about a couples relationship by just looking at the way they look at each other. These two seriously take my breath away! Just look at the way pure love and adoration emanates from the look in their eyes as they embrace and laugh with each other in such an effortless way! The proof is in the pudding here….CLEARLY! These two were a breath of fresh air and simply reminded me why I do what I do. I couldn’t be happier for them as they experience this season of life with one another! Just like two peas in a pod, Alexis and LaShawn were absolutely meant to be! I am so excited to capture their love story even further next July!! Oh, and STAY TUNED for Part TWO of their engagement photos!! Congratulations to Alexis and LaShawn!!!
