There are simply not enough words to describe Ashlie and David’s wedding day at The BB King Museum in Indianola, Mississippi! Simplistic, historic, and so much FUN…are the words that come to mind immediately. But the entire day as a whole? Just BREATH-TAKING. From the weather, to the beautiful historic locations, to the gorgeous couple and all of their family and friends who shared the day with them…THIS is why I absolutely love what I do!! I am seriously smitten over these two and their easy going charm, jovial personalities, and secret model statuses….seriously just scroll and see all the amazing portraits we captured of these two! I think I actually died and went to heaven while photographing them!!
When I spoke to David on the phone earlier in the year, I got to hear his enthusiasm when letting me know he and Ashlie were going to have their ceremony at none other than the BB King Museum and Interpretive Center! His passion for the history and legacy of BB King was enough to convince me that this wedding was not only going to be unique, but also a wonderful way to reflect who David and Ashlie are! They also chose to get ready and have their reception at the beautiful and historic Belmont Plantation in Greenville, Mississippi! The charm of the plantation and the history and legacy behind the BB King museum complimented this wedding in a way that was fun, unique and sentimental!
There were just too many amazing moments throughout this day to count! Ashlie and her stunning daughters, Ava and Adelaide, belting out to Shallow by Bradley Cooper and Lady GaGa while getting ready, the sweetest and emotional first look between Ashlie and David atop of the charming plantation balcony, and David’s beautiful bride singing to her husband beneath the stars to Randy Travis’s “Forever and Ever, Amen”…….just epic. I couldn’t be happier for David and Ashlie as the enter into this amazing season of life together!! Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Benton!!
