Alise + Dylan | Wedding | The White Magnolia | Kentwood, Louisiana
Ok guys, grab your TISSUES for this one. Alise and Dylan had the most beautiful wedding day at The White Magnolia in Kentwood, Louisiana and let me tell you, it is packed with so many emotional moments throughout the whole day! It started off to be a rainy day, but by the grace of GOD, the rains cleared in just enough time for beautiful outdoor portraits featuring The White Magnolia’s beautiful landscape. Alise and Dylan are basically models, therefore, adding them along with the gorgeous scenery just made for an absolute photographers DREAM!!!
Alise had her heart set on an outdoor wedding…..upon reading the weather forecast about a million times, that 100% chance of rain right at 4pm was not budging. The inside was being prepped to get ready to move it all indoors, BUT yet again, the storm clouds passed right by us and it maybe drizzled for 2 seconds during their ceremony. It was the perfect mix of romantic, emotional, and magazine worthy!! Aside from our luck with the weather, I have to talk about Alise’s first look with her Dad and their father-daughter dance…..seriously, you have to scroll to see just how amazing their relationship is!! Alise and her dad, Alise and Dylan, Alise and her mom, sister, Dylan and his parents…..literally every single one of these people just glowed with happiness and the most loving support for each other one on of the most special days in Alise and Dylan’s lives together. It is truly beautiful how strong of a bond both of these families have with each other!!
I asked Alise at her bridal session prior to the wedding what she was looking forward to the MOST when thinking about the wedding as a whole…..her answer?? “To be married to Dylan”……I just got chills typing that. These two are head over heels for each other and it so clear to see in the way they look at each other and embrace every moment! Witnessing two people who are so in tune with each other and living in the moment as if it were their last on that loud and crowded dance floor just makes you feel like you stepped into a movie…… I couldn’t be happier for Alise and Dylan that they got to experience such an amazing day! Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Dugas!!!!
