When a traditional New Orleans wedding meets pure happiness and an abundance of emotional and sentimental moments… you get the most perfect day for Kelsey and Alex!! They were married in the stunning cathedral at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church in the heart of New Orleans on St. Charles Ave. They had a beautiful Catholic mass before heading to their reception at The Alexander Room and Terrace.

Between Alex’s outstanding thoughtfulness, Kelsey’s spur of the moment first look with her sweet brothers, and the moment Kelsey walked down the aisle escorted by her brothers with her father there in spirit and in their hearts, my soul was consumed with the emotional and just how special this day was not only to Kelsey and Alex, but also their families. On the day that Alex proposed to Kelsey, they were strolling through New Orleans. Kelsey had wanted to get a piece of art for their home but little did Kelsey know that Alex was preparing to pop the question. Fast forward, on the day of their wedding, Alex had a gift bigger than her wrapped complete with the most heart-felt letter. What was the huge gift you might wonder? Well it was the same piece of art they had looked at one the day they got engaged in City Park. Alex tracked it back down to give it Kelsey on their wedding day. My jaw dropped when she was telling us the story after she opened it!!

These two have the sweetest love for one another and this day could not have been more perfect. It warms my heart to be able to capture the unique stories, personal elements, and sentiments that coincide on a wedding day to make it special for the bride and groom. The stars absolutely aligned for Kelsey and Alex and I couldn’t feel more thankful that they chose me to capture this day for them!! I wish them all the best in their lives together! With out further ado, I am screaming a huge CONGRATULATIONS to Mr. and Mrs. Bowers!!
