Taylor + Robert | Engaged | Long Beach, Mississippi
Running through the sand, dancing near the water, recreating old photos, and laughing til our cheeks hurt….Taylor and Robert’s Long Beach engagement session was absolutely SPECTACULAR in every way!! I had only met these two just a few days prior to discuss their wedding plans! They had just decided on a wedding date and asked if I would be up for a spontaneous trip to Long Beach to take their engagement photos. OF COURSE I was like “YES!!!”
I arrived to Taylor’s parents’ beautiful beach house right across from the Gulf of Mexico in Long Beach, MS. Taylor and Robert explained how one of their favorite things to do is go out to the beach house as often as they can! So we started off the photos by Taylor’s sail boat and oh my goodness my heart was SOARING! Not to mention, I got a little glimpse of how Robert proposed and the boat played a significant role! He explained how he wanted to walk out to the beach and propose to her there. However, knowing how observant Taylor is, having the big bulky ring box in his pocket was sure to catch her eye. So he goes out a little earlier that day, picks a spot by the boat, and buries the ring in the sand! How romantic and clever right?! Seriously obsessed.
Upon starting the session, Taylor showed me some old photographs of her grandparents that she wanted to recreate! I always love a good photo recreation, however, these were UNIQUE…making them even more fun!! They entailed of skipping rocks and legit DANCING on the beach. If that isn’t the life, I’m not sure what is. Furthermore, I had the absolute best time capturing their fun and energetic personalities and effortless love for one another!! Taylor and Robert are too perfect for words and I couldn’t be happier for them as they get ready to experience one of the most meaningful and special days of their lives in February!! Congratulations to Taylor and Robert!!
