Jamie + Brent | Wedding | The Greenery at Liuzza Land | Amite, Louisiana
Ok this is going to be a LONG one!! I mean, I am just speechless with Jamie and Brent’s wedding day at The Greenery at Liuzza Land in Amite, Louisiana!! With their classic black and white details, an abundance of emotional moments, the coolest bridal party, an old classic Thunderbird, and then entertainment of the one and only Bag of Donuts during the reception! This day was all around fun, beautiful, emotional, and exciting from start to finish!!
From the very first time I met Jamie, I knew her wedding was going to be fabulous. A couple months prior to the wedding I photographed hers and Brent’s engagement photos and that had me even more excited! I couldn’t help but notice just how much Brent adores Jamie. From the way he looks at her, holds her, to the way he kisses her in the most effortless and romantic way. I mean, they are basically straight out of a Nicholas Sparks movie!!
The time drew near for Jamie and Brent’s eyes to meet, but before that, Jamie wished to share a moment with her sweet dad, Steve, and her son, Kole. If this moment doesn’t have you tearing up, I don’t know what will. In Jamie’s mom’s words, they waited a long time for a day a special as this. As I was photographing both the first look with Jamie’s dad and son, as well as the first look with Brent, I couldn’t help but notice just how much love and support these two have from the people closest to them. A simple outpouring of love and happiness emanated beneath the hustle and bustle of the wedding. And I think that is such an important element to having a wonderful and stress free day…. the love and support of friends and family standing by your side rooting for you!! Jamie and Brent absolutely had that and I couldn’t feel more honored that they chose me to be apart such a special season of their lives! I wish them all the best in their marriage and lives together!! Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Ragusa!!
