A Quiet Country Estate Spring Engagement Session | Courtney + Taylor

For the love of quiet country estates, azalea-lined driveways, horse pastures, and the most head over heels in love couple to top it all off…… my jaw is literally on the floor reflecting back on Courtney and Taylor’s engagement session at a family members private residence in Folsom, Louisiana! I arrived at the location and immediately was taken aback by the pure beauty of the property! It was like stepping straight into a romantic movie as there was just the perfect mix of the cutest and purest affection between Courtney and Taylor and the peaceful and tranquil feeling of the property!

It’s so funny how with this career I can sometimes take a photo of my clients before ever even meeting them officially. Courtney and Taylor were guests at one of their good friends’ wedding where I was the wedding photographer. Take a scroll back to Missy and Chris’s gorgeous New Orleans wedding back in February 2021 and just LOOK at who caught the bouquet…..none other than Courtney herself!!! When she inquired with me to photograph hers and Taylor’s wedding in May of 2023 I instantly remembered seeing them at Missy and Chris’s wedding and taking quite a few candid photos of them on the dance floor. Although I didn’t know them from Adam, I remember DISTINCTLY looking at them and feeling the amazing chemistry they had with one another!! And that chemistry absolutely carried through to their engagement session!!

Courtney and Taylor are just as beautiful on the inside as they are on the outside. When I met Courtney for the first time at Pjs Coffee to discuss the wedding day, it was honestly as if I was just meeting up and hanging out with an old friend. I absolutely can’t wait to see her and Taylor finally tie the knot as they are truly each others bread and butter!!! Their personalities shine bright and they light up so authentically around each other!! I couldn’t be happier for them and feel so honored to be apart of their journey to becoming Mr. and Mrs.!!! Congratulations to the future Nunez’s!!!
