Brittany + James | Wedding | The Greystone | Mandeville, Louisiana

Ok so I am not trying to use the ol cliche “I’m speechless”, but when I began to set myself back to Brittany and Jimmy’s wedding day to begin telling the story, it truly is hard to find the words. These two had the most spectacular wedding celebration at The Greystone in Mandeville, Louisiana! It was fun, romantic, and all encompassing of a wedding that should be featured in a magazine! From the beautiful fall colors, to the gorgeous weather, the picturesque grounds of the venue, to Brittany and Jimmy’s friendly and humble personalities…. this day will forever go down as a top FAVORITE! I am simply obsessed!!

From the very first time I met Brittany and Jimmy at their engagement session back in February, I knew we were going to work well together! They are a perfect example of why sometimes I WISH I could shoot the same wedding a million times over!! I arrived at the venue to be immediately greeting with the warm and welcoming vibes from Brittany’s closest friends and family! When the bridesmaids immediately begin a dance party in the foyer in their robes, you just KNOW its going to be a good day! Haha! And just as I already knew, before I even photographed her bridal portraits, Brittany got dressed and was THE most stunning bride. She and her now hubby, Jimmy, are both the most beautiful souls on the inside and out!! It was finally time for Jimmy to see his beautiful bride and they shared the sweetest first look before taking some of the most epic and STUNNING portraits together! So Brittany and Jimmy were finally hitched!!! They had the most romantic outdoor ceremony at sunset and sparks flew for their first kiss…..no LITERALLY! It was such an epic moment to capture their first kiss amongst the fireworks they had placed behind the venues outdoor arch! We went inside and they danced their hearts out before sending off with confetti streamers!! It goes without saying that I could absolutely photograph this wedding over and over if I could! I couldn’t be happier for Brittany and Jimmy and hope to capture more of their milestones in years to come!! Congratulations to the Prieurs!!
