Kristin + Justin | Engaged | Downtown Covington, Louisiana | The Southern Hotel
It was absolute gorgeous October evening for Kristin and Justin’s engagement shoot in Historic Downtown Covington, LA!! Seriously, these two + this charming and quaint downtown area were the perfect ingredients to make me want to just faint while editing!
It has been over a decade since these two first laid eyes on each other when they were both in college. Kristin mentioned in her first ever email to me that they wanted to wait until they were both more mature and could afford the wedding of their dreams. My friends, this is so incredibly wise!! When I read all about their plans for a romantic ceremony and a fun and lively reception I was immediately so excited for them that it is finally happening! I commend them for be patient with each other in their earlier years together!
I met these two for the first time on the day of their engagement session, but it was almost as if I had known them forever! I could immediately feel how connected they are to each other and just how beautifully their personalities mesh not only with each other but also with mine!! But I was already so confident that I would connect with them after Kristin mentioned in her email that they love being silly, traveling, and also great food and drinks…..I mean it was almost as if I emailed myself HA!! Kristin and Justin were 100% made for each other and it was so evident while hanging out with them and capturing their images. Don’t believe me? Just scroll and see for yourselves!!
