Amanda + Ben | Engaged

Amanda and Ben are just the sweetest couple ever! It took a little bit to get their engagement session planned since Ben works a lot and his schedule is a little hard to work around! Amanda had messaged me earlier that week to let me know he would be off and I am so happy the weather cooperated! We got BEAUTIFUL golden hour sun and a not too terribly chilly day! PLUS, they brought their adorable fur baby Tucker to take part in the photos too!

This session was a blast from the start because, for one, Amanda could not stop laughing! And I absolute LOVED it! Natural laughs are the best and there was not one moment that I couldn’t get one. Amanda was telling me it was just absolutely hilarious to her since taking photos is not something they normally do! I had to laugh because back in the summer, when my husband Justin and I got photos taken of us, I could not stop laughing either because it was so out of the ordinary! So I instantly knew they were going to be A LOT like us in that scenario! From start to finish was nothing but laughter. It was simply everything that fuels my heart and soul for photography!

On top of a beautiful day and the most fun couple ever, Amanda and Ben wanted to incorporate their precious Golden Retriever Tucker in some of the photos! Let me tell you, this puppy was so energetic! He wanted to run, jump, and explore! I told them don’t worry though cause I’ll catch his butt a time or two! Sure enough he settled down a few times to let me snap some photos of him and boy is he PHOTOGENIC!!

In just 4 short months I will have the opportunity to capture even more of Amanda and Ben’s love story on their wedding day! June 8th hurry up!! Stay tuned for their wedding blog post coming this summer! Once again, congratulations to the soon-to-be Mr. and Mrs. Knight!!
