Amanda + Ben

Clear skies, a stunning venue, soft summer colors, all mixed with the amazing couple that is Amanda and Ben, made for a truly SPECTACULAR day! Rustic with a touch of elegance, traditional with a touch of romance….guys….this wedding just made my little photographer heart soar!!

Earlier during the week this crazy Louisiana forecast was calling for 80% chance of rain….EIGHTY! And not only that, but also A LOT of rain!! And guess what? Not a single DROP! Just goes to show that if you are planning a wedding here in south Louisiana you better be ready for ANYTHING to happen haha! Aside from the weather being perfect, every other aspect of this day fell into place beautifully! I contacted Amanda a few weeks before the wedding to start getting the wedding day timeline in order. Y’all she had everything planned out to a T!! I was so impressed!

It all started when Ben popped the question last year just before Christmas!! Amanda contacted me shortly after about photographing her and Ben’s special day! Guys these two planned this wedding in 6 MONTHS and look how amazing it looked! They did NOT want to wait! Haha! But I don’t blame them one bit as I was the same way with my wedding! I remember being so overwhelmed with excitement that God sent me my person and I just couldn’t WAIT to marry him! As for Amanda and Ben, well I can tell you these two are PERFECT for each other! I got to photograph their engagement photos back in January and they just have the CUTEST relationship. The way Amanda smiles and laughs around him and the way Ben just gazes at her and the way his eyes light up…. ugh my heart just melts when I see right before my eyes how perfect two people are for each other! I couldn’t be happier for Amanda and Ben and wish them all the best in their future together!! Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Knight!!
