Lunden + Sage | St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church | Abbeville, Louisiana
Despite many MANY obstacles leading up to Lunden and Sage’s wedding day, as I left the wedding I felt such a sense of fulfillment, gratefulness, and pure joy. 2020 has proven to be quite the year. Obviously COVID-19 has thrown some curve balls but the loss of Lunden’s sweet Mimi threw an even HARDER one for her and her family. Although she could not be there physically, I TRULY believe she was right there with them! I didn’t have the pleasure of meeting her but I just KNOW by looking at her sweet pictures that she was a wonderful lady that will surely be missed!
Leading up to the wedding day I knew things were stressful…..but gosh, as we moved throughout the day and even as Lunden ALSO didn’t feel too well, the vibes, the emotions, and the joy that emanated off of everyone including Lunden and Sage absolutely SHINED. And it shined BEAUTIFULLY! I still feel so incredibly honored and thankful to have been apart of this day! Whenever a couple can go through as much as Lunden and Sage have and STILL manage to have the time of their lives on their wedding day does so much for my soul and reminds me why I will forever love my job! And I will be forever thankful that God allowed us to cross paths!
It rained…. but ya know what? Who even cares? Not even the rain could stop these two amazing people from committing their lives to one another and in the BEST of spirits! There was so much emotion, so much laughter, so much pure happiness that I simply could not stop smiling!! They had a beautiful short and sweet mass at the breath-taking St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church of Abbeville and followed with a LIVELY and full of fun reception at Southern Soiree’s!! I enjoyed every minute of capturing this day and wish Lunden and Sage all the best in their many years of marriage to come!! Congratulations to the new Mr. and Mrs. Schexnider!!
