Samantha + Justin | An Outdoor Fall Wedding | Fountainebleau State Park | Mandeville, Louisiana
When I reflect back on Samantha and Justin’s SPECTACULAR wedding day on October 3rd at Fountainebleau State Park in Mandeville, Louisiana….. I am basically speechless. These two are simply amazing in every way! The way they laugh at each other, hold each other, and just the pure beauty and brightness that emanates from their relationship together is enough to make my photographer heart beat right out of my chest!
Samantha and Justin’s wedding took my breath away for many reasons. It was the first early afternoon wedding I had shot in awhile and it was a reminder of just how amazing afternoon weddings are!! The bride and groom shared a sweet and intimate first look under the whimsical mossy oak trees of Fountainebleau State park. The day followed with a gorgeous outdoor ceremony and reception and FOUR separate times throughout the day for bride and groom portraits. Thats right, FOUR TIMES to capture beautiful portraits for the bride and groom! That is simply UNHEARD of!! However, it is totally not surprising given Samantha and Justin’s super laid back and easy-going personalities AND the fact that Samantha LOVES photos!!
As I photographed the day I witnessed two amazing people enjoying themselves despite the normal wedding day stresses. Samantha’s smile radiates as beautiful and brightly as the sun setting over the lake. She simply gleamed with pure beauty and grace. And the way her groom gazed at her? Oh my gosh, my heart was melting!!! I knew these two and their special day was going to be fantastic after they WILLINGLY let me photograph their engagement session towards the beginning of the year in the POURING rain!
I loved every single minute I got to spend with the two of them and their sweet family and friends. This wedding was nothing short of a DREAM and I will forever be thankful Samantha and Justin chose me to capture it!! Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Price! I wish the two of you and your family all the best in the world!!
