Kelsey + Kyle | Wedding | Red Stick Social | Baton Rouge, Louisiana
After throwing together a wedding backup plan in a matter of 10 days, Kelsey and Kyle were FINALLY married at Red Stick Social on September 10th in Baton Rouge, Louisiana!! And let me tell you, it all turned out FANTASTIC and so so fun!! Hurricane Ida made landfall in Louisiana just 10 days before the wedding as one of the worst storms in history….even worse the Hurricane Katrina. But when two people love each other as much as Kelsey and Kyle do, not even a huge storm could hold them back from celebrating one of the most significant and special days of their lives!!
I have had the pleasure of spending a lot of time with Kelsey and Kyle upon capturing their day and one thing I noticed is just how head over heels they are for each other. So many smiles and so much laughter between the two of them and its absolutely amazing! I met them for the first time at their best friends wedding, HaLeigh and Bobby, while I was also capturing their day. I watched them absolutely kill it on the dance floor with each other and knew right then and there they were going to be a BLAST!! From that night, to their Nola session, and finally their wedding day….these two didn’t skip a beat.
So 9/10/21 finally came! It was a beautiful day in Baton Rouge and the wedding was ON!! Red Stick Social made this wedding one of the most unique and eventful weddings I have ever had the pleasure to photograph. 5 floors of fun and excitement around every corner. From the 3rd floor dining area, to the 4th floor bowling ally, and on to the 5th floor terrace where Kelsey and Kyle said “I Do” and danced the night away….this wedding was SPECTACULAR!! This days features so many awesome things! Pictures at the bar, pictures on the bowling ally lanes, pictures on the terrace….snuggling on the cute yellow and green couches, jumping off the band stage, second lining around the venue with the ones that love them the most…and finally sharing their last dance beneath the stars. I couldn’t be happier for these two as they get to experience such an amazing season of life together! Congratulations to Kelsey and Kyle!
