My very first wedding of my 2022 season was spent capturing Claudia and Gene’s absolute STUNNING day at First Baptist Church in Covington, Louisiana! They had a romantic ceremony in the quite and quaint white chapel and danced the night away amongst the candle lit, historic, antebellum-style Maison Lafitte event venue located in old Mandeville, Louisiana!
I arrived to Claudia’s getting ready location and simply gushed at not only how pretty her details were, but also just how chill and welcoming the atmosphere was. Claudia had handwritten personal notes to all of her sweet bridesmaids. As they were reading them, a tear or two may have been shed! Such a sweet moment before heading off to the ceremony location for Claudia and Gene’s first look! Finally, it was time for the moment for Claudia and Gene’s eyes to meet!! This is one of my favorite parts of a wedding day! Claudia and Gene shared the sweetest moment with all of their best friends standing there in witness and support!! They then absolutely killed it in front of the cameras and we got the most joy-filled, romantic, and magazine worthy photos!! Scroll to see all the beauty we captured throughout this day’s entirety!!
Considering that I did not photograph an engagement session for these two, this was the very first time I got to see these two together. However, it is truly amazing how much you can learn about a couple from a very short 8 hours on a wedding day! Gene absolutely adores Claudia! And the way they look at each other is such a symbol of their strong bond and love for each other! I am so happy they were able to have the wedding of their dreams and I couldn’t be happier for them as they get to experience this amazing season of life together! Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Fletcher!!!
