Chelsea + Joshua | Wedding | Chesterton Square | Ponchatoula, LA

It is always hard to put into words just how amazing my couples and their wedding days are. Chelsea and Josh and their absolutely SPECTACULAR wedding day at Chesterton Square in Ponchatoula, Louisiana was no exception!! 1st off, both Chelsea and Josh are absolute naturals in front of the camera and made my job easy! I mean, just do yourselves a favor and scroll to see their stunning portraits!! But my favorite part about this entire day was the pure emotion and sentimental moments that intertwined this day through and through.

Chelsea and Josh decided that they would write their own vows and read them to each other in private before their ceremony. I love this for so many reasons! Chelsea and Josh were able to be fully present with one another as they exchanged heartfelt words and held each other with pure embrace. Josh’s granny, who is now in heaven, was a big part of their lives. But throughout the whole day, Chelsea and Josh had constant memories of her that filled everyone’s hearts with her spirit! Even though I had never met her from Adam, it was evident that she was so loved and that she was an amazing person!

Not only did the sweet sentiments of Granny’s memory and Chelsea and Josh’s undying love and adoration for another combine to make this day truly one to remember…..But the love and support from their family and friends was also of great significance! It is without a doubt that Chelsea and Josh are loved, both from their loved ones here on earth and in heaven!! In reflecting all of this, I couldn’t feel more grateful that they chose me to be apart of such a special day in their lives. I was yet again reminded why I pursued my career in wedding photography. To not only capture pretty pictures….but to also capture the meaning behind the moments is something I will forever value in my heart! Without further ado, I am sending the biggest congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Chatelain!!
