Alysse + Thomas | Wedding | Beau Chene Country Club | Our Lady of the Lake Roman Catholic Church | Mandeville, Louisiana

What a breath of fresh air this day was! From the beautiful day to the absolute wonderful people that Alysse and Thomas are, January 28th was spectacular from start to finish! These two were married in the stunning Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church in old Mandeville, Louisiana. They shared the sweetest first look before taking some of the most gorgeous portraits at their reception venue, Beau Chene Country Club, also located in Mandeville. We moved through this day with such ease that as I didn’t even realize in the moment how many photos I captured of the two of them! It warms my heart just looking back at just how happy they were on their wedding day! It is clear to see in their photos that they without a doubt are each others light!

I arrived to Beau Chene, where everyone had started the day getting ready. Walking into the bridal suite at the beginning of the day will always be something I get extremely nervous over….believe it or not. But when I walk into a room to a group of amazing ladies like Alysse and her closest family and friends, my heart and soul experiences this wave of relief and I feel so ready to capture the day in the best way possible!! As I mentioned in the beginning, Alysse, Thomas, and both of their families were simply a breath of fresh air!

As I photographed the moments throughout the day, I couldn’t help but noticed the genuine expressions on Thomas’s face as he gazed at his beautiful bride and the way Alysse looked at him just the same. It felt as if they were the truest form of themselves on one of the most special and significant days of their lives. Nothing else mattered. And friends, let these two be a wonderful example because this is absolutely how it should be!! I couldn’t sense any form of stress at any part of the day and that always brings me so much joy!! It is without question, that Alysse and Thomas are two peas in a pod! They were absolutely meant for each other and I will be forever grateful that they chose me to be apart of capturing this day!! Finally, I am SCREAMING a huge congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Williams!!
