Emerald Green and Ivory Wedding | The Sadie Jane | Slidell, Louisiana | Olivia + Cameron

A January wedding in Slidell, Louisiana brought so much laughter, sunshine, and an abundance of sentimental and emotional moments for Olivia and Cameron’s special day! This absolute precious couple married outdoors overlooking the soft sunset background glistening through the golf course at The Sadie Jane. Pops of Emerald green, classic ivory florals, and a country chic venue all worked together in the most beautiful and timeless fashion. The emotion and giddiness between Olivia and Cameron intertwined the day as a whole in a way that truly moves the soul. Yet again, I am reminded why I absolutely love what I do!!

I arrived to the venue to be immediately greeted by the kindest coordinators at The Sadie Jane. In the bridal suite, the ladies were finishing up hair and makeup and Olivia was already so radiant with beauty on the inside and out!! Her first look with her dad and brother was such a sweet moment that had Olivia’s mom moved to tears! Alas, it was finally time for Olivia and Cameron to lay eyes on each other for the very first time on their wedding day!! Cameron turned around and was completely speechless!! They immediately followed with embracing hugs before they began reading their vows to one another. Without the pressure of all of their guests watching, this was so special. Their words flowed with the sweetest authenticity as the tears started to emerge. It was the most beautiful thing and in my opinion one of the BEST decisions a couple can make on their wedding day!! Having that moment alone together is something I don’t think neither Olivia or Cameron will regret!!

What an amazing start to the 2023 wedding season!! I will forever be grateful that Olivia chose me to be apart of such a special day for her and Cameron and their families! When I first met them at their engagement session last year, it was so evident that they bring out pure joy in each other! I knew without a doubt that this day would be amazing and it far exceeded that!! I am sending a huge congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Sims!!
