Caitlyn + Tom | Wedding | The White Magnolia, Kentwood, LA

It was an absolute beautiful day at The White Magnolia in Kentwood, Louisiana for Caitlyn and Tom’s wedding day! From the beautiful sunshine and cool breeze, the whimsical florals and chapel, and the sweetest couple who emulate nothing but pure kindness and evident adoration for one another. I loved everything about this day! The timeline was perfect and everything ran right on schedule! The entire bridal party and family were so easy going and some of the friendliest people I have ever met! The vendors were also phenomenal to work with! Basically Caitlyn and Tom’s wedding day = every photographer’s DREAM!!

There were so many special moments that stood out to me as I was capturing the day. The first being the sweetest moment between Caitlyn and her dad with her mom nearby barely holding back the tears! I started getting choked up myself as I tried to snap as many moments as I could. I always imagine this moment one day with my own daughter on her wedding day. It makes total sense why the emotions start to arise in these moments! Shortly after Caitlyn’s mom helped her into her stunning wedding gown, she and Tom shared a private moment back to back amongst the grand, light-filled foyer between the getting ready suites. They opted to not see each other until the ceremony but wanted to hold hands and be with each other for a moment before one of the biggest events of their lives. I thought this was so heart-warming and such a great way to pause and soak it all in!!

Finally, after some fun portraits with the guys and girls, it was time for these two love birds to get MARRIED!! And I knew from speaking with Caitlyn prior to the wedding that THIS was the moment she was waiting for…. to walk down that aisle and marry her man!! She looked absolutely stunning and the look in Tom’s eyes as his beautiful bride made her way to him was enough to give anyone butterflies! They said their “I do’s” and off to the party they went where they danced all night to the funky and energetic sound of their band, Ryan Foret & Foret Tradition. Just your typical cake eating, money dancin, garter/bouquet throwin, and hanging with the best of friends and family kind of night! And it was all SPECTACULAR!! I couldn’t be happier for these two as they enter into a new season of life together and will be forever thankful that they chose me to capture this day for them!! Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Candiotto!!!
