Sydney + Blake | Wedding | The Greystone | Mandeville, Louisiana

Prepare for your jaws to DROP with this stunning, classic, and romantic wedding day at The Greystone in Mandeville, Louisiana! Sydney and Blake are some of the most kind and fun souls I have ever had the pleasure of meeting! And their wedding day truly and authentically represented who they are! These love birds were married amongst the whimsical gardens of The Greystone (One of my absolute favorite venues in south Louisiana) surrounded by beautiful flowers, lush greenery, and the love and support from their closest family and friends! Was it hot you may ask? YES. Did it phase these two one bit? NO. Was working in the Louisiana heat to capture this day worth it? 1000000X YES!!

As I entered the bridal suite, I was welcomed by Sydney’s stunning bridesmaids and her sweet mom and mother-in-law! All was wonderful and I could immediately sense the chill and warm vibes from everyone! But can we talk about Sydney and Blake’s ADORABLE little boy? He stole the show a few times with is cute little grin and curly hair! When he saw his gorgeous mommy for the first time, the two of them shared the sweetest moment! Sweet moments like this were in abundance throughout this days entirety! From Sydney and her dad trying not to tear up when he saw his beautiful daughter for the first time, her mom tearing up while getting her ready, and the sweetest Mother/son dance with Blake and his lovely mom…..there are just too many special parts of this day to recount!

After what probably felt like a lifetime of planning and preparing for this day, Sydney and Blake were finally MARRIED. They said their “I Do’s” and became covered in rose petals as they walked cheerfully and gracefully back up the aisle! We took lots of beautiful pictures and they shared a wonderfully choreographed first dance full of spins, twirls, and dips!! It was absolutely AMAZING. Sydney, Blake, and all of their family and friends filled the dance floor and danced the night away. They celebrated their hearts out with one of the most fun and lively receptions I have ever been apart of. If I could go back, I would photograph this wedding a million times over! Seriously, what an epically FANTASTIC day!! I couldn’t be happier for Sydney and Blake in this new season of their lives together!!! Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Ricalde!!
