Kelsey + Kyle | Engaged | New Orleans, Louisiana
Ok so it has taken me a little longer to blog Kelsey and Kyle’s engagement session, because y’all its THAT amazing!! We’re talking love ferns (Yes, love ferns), beignets, beautiful gardens, and craft beers at Miel Brewery. Kelsey put so much thought and detail into making hers and Kyles photos unique and true to who they are as a couple and I couldn’t have loved it any more!!
Let’s talk about that love fern….if you have seen “How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days” then you know exactly what I am talking about!! When Kelsey whipped it out of the car and showed me their love fern I immediately knew the movie it was referencing as its a favorite of mine as well. You HAVE to scroll to see these two posing with their love fern…hahahaha!! They also wanted to include a little bit of their story in some way in the photos. So we started with a photo of the city where it all began…. Atlanta, Georgia. Along the way they also spent some time apart while they were each in college (Kelsey in Baton Rouge and Kyle in Dayton, Ohio). They brought these beautiful framed maps from each of the cities and incorporated those at the very spot where they will be married in September in New Orleans City Park. How cool right??! Sentimental stuff like this seriously tugs on the heart strings!!
One thing I noticed about these two is that their personalities mesh so so well together. Two people laughing together, hand in hand, and wrapped in each others arms constantly makes it so evident how much they mean to each other!!
After strolling through the French quarter, enjoying some tasty beignets from the New Orleans staple, Cafe Du Monde, and ending with a couple beers from one of their favorite go-to spots….I’d say Kelsey and Kyle’s engagement session was one for the books!! I couldn’t be happier for these two and absolutely can’t wait to capture their special day in September!! Congratulations to Kelsey and Kyle!!
