Peacocks, Cute Pups, and Two Love Birds | Kaitlyn + Jarred

Peacocks, cute pups, and two love birds…oh my!! It was cool, overcast day for Kaitlyn and Jarred’s scenic engagement session at Rip Van Winkle Gardens in New Iberia, Louisiana! There are so many elements that make this session unique! We started off amongst the picturesque landscape of the gardens featuring mossy oak trees overlooking a lake, rows of bamboo, and my FAVORITE part……PEACOCKS! And these beauties were everywhere showing off their vibrant colors!!

Kaitlyn and Jarred are a super fun couple who simply love to have a good time. Their relationship together is the cutest and you can tell that they light up and let loose around each other! We spent a good bit of time with the peacocks waiting for one of them to fan out their epic and colorful feathers. And alas, they did!! I have to say, I am simply obsessed with these two and this amazing session! Even though the peacocks made for unique session, there was another element that made Kaitlyn and Jarred’s session more special to them! They brought their pups! Upon conversing with Kaitlyn and Jarred, I learned that they decided to have a destination wedding to keep things a little more simple and cost effective! I have to say, I just love this and am so happy them! Even though, I only got to spend a short time with them, I could quickly gather that these two are simply perfect for each other! I couldn’t be happier for these two as they get to experience such an amazing season of life together!! Congratulations to Kaitlyn and Jarred!!
