Madison + Greg | Wedding | The White Magnolia | Kentwood, LA

A beautiful, warm summer day, the Kentwood, LA rolling hills and the exquisite White Magnolia chapel, and a bridal party that knows how to have fun….Madison and Greg’s wedding day at The White Magnolia was nothing short of a spectacular affair! The dreamy light, soft blue color palette, and Madison’s excellent attention to detail were the perfect puzzle pieces to every photographer’s dream!

I arrived to the venue to the friendly and humble staff at The White Magnolia preparing for the day! The bridal suite was already getting lively with makeup touchups and Madison popping the first bottle of champagne!! It was getting closer and closer to show time! Madison got dressed into her beautiful wedding gown with the help of her sweet momma, Ms. Rhonda. This is always one of my most favorite moments on a wedding day and makes me envision how much of a sweet moment it will be one day when sharing it with my little girl on her wedding day! There’s nothing quite like a mom helping daughter get dressed on one of the most important days of her life! Madison then surprised her bridesmaids with her final look and then again with her dad and brother! These moments were so telling into how much love and support Madison has in her family and best friends!! The hype was real!!

Finally, it was time for Greg to see his bride!! And with his fun-loving and jovial natural, he turned around and gasped and said “What a smoke show!”. This has to be one of my favorite parts of the day!! We then went on to take some of the most gorgeous portraits among the enchanting and romantic chapel and lush country side. When it was time for them to say “I Do”… I am not sure if I have ever heard so much laughter during a ceremony!! This was another one of my favorite parts! They made it fun, true to who they are, and really soaked in the moment not only with each other, but with all of their family and friends there in witness and support!! I loved everything about Madison and Greg’s wedding day! Of course, they then danced the night away and had the time of their lives! I couldn’t be happier for these two as they enter in this new season! They are without a doubt two peas in a pod and I feel so grateful to have met them and to have been apart of this amazing day!! Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Herman!!!
